This may seem to be a very useless project for some people but its features may be the foundation some amazing projects. This part of the Looking Glass project is a higher level abstraction of some of the class file editing. It is easier to use than some of the other parts of the API.

This multi-platform API provides provides facilities for looking up code entities (reference resolution) such as classes, methods, fields etc for the JVM platform. It is specifically designed to find these entities from compiled data sources such as JARs and directory structures and in the future JIMAGE modules file, as well as gathered source information from early stages of source code building.

This API provides a utility called a DataBag that works similar to several .NET API constructs. It expands automaticaly and sizes the same way a StringBuilder does except the unit of data is a byte. The name derives from the fact that it works a bit like a bag to stuff data into so that it can be retrieved later.
